Step 1. Here I would like you to lay out the general outline of your map. Having these things in mind not only helps make later decisions easier, knowing these things will help the Human Agents find you the best Home available. As always if you have already made these determinations, proceed to the next step.
- Are you looking for a Primary Residence or Vacation Home?
- It is best to begin with listing out the things you must have in a Home. What you want in your home is next. Here, examine just the MUST HAVE things.
- How many in your household? # of Bedrooms and Bathrooms - Size of Kitchen, overall living space?
- Location - Distance of your max commute? Distance from Schools, churches, shopping?
- Take a First look at type: Condo, Town home or House?
- Ability to perform maintenance and upkeep?
- Storage needs?
- Do you have the skills or desire to renovate a fixer-upper?
- Now look at the amenities you want to have.
- Look at your needs and list what you would LIKE to have in addition to what you MUST have.
- Additional amenities which you would like. Pool, Garage (1, 2, 3 Car), Views, access to hobbies or sports?
- Again look at Type. List here what you would prefer. House with large yard, Condo with exercise room, gated community?
- Do you want a home ready to move into or would you prefer to enhance it to your taste and style? Not only the interior but also the landscaping.
- Next look at your Time Frame for purchasing.
